    More crappy Gibson QC!

    Made ya look!
    GAS GAS GAS! Got this from Yahoo yesterday, very nice axe, might swap the pups out though. Fully bound thick maple top, one piece mahogany body, super comfy neck, still has the protective film on the rear covers, LOL



    1+2 = McGuirk, 2+4 = She's hot, 6-4 = Happy McGuirk

      Damn, I've always had major GAS for an Explorer, always one with a flamed maple finish too! Why don't you let me have it?

        This one is an '02, they're out of production since '04 or '05 I think.

        Vultures, you can have it for............................ one meeeeeeeeeeeelion dollars!

            You better open up and check the control cavity. Probably find a used rubber or dead mouse! I had one of those...pretty nice guitar. Too bad they won't do more Explorers with nicer tops AND full binding. I couldn't get used to the smaller body and no Floyd.

            I got a solution for Gibson flubbery and non-Floydedness

              That's about a perfect Explorer.
              The binding, and of course the maple top, really set it apart.

              I'd change every bit of hardware to gold including pickup covers and rings.........that would make it godly IMO.

                      they are brand new, i think. release this year but i can remeber if the new ones come with block inlays. i want the trans black version.
                      BTW nice explorer

                          I played one of them when they first came out and they rock!! I like the slightly smaller body. The ebony board and fret work was horrible on the one I played or I would have bought it. It was about 4-5 years ago. Explorer Pro I believe. Jack.

                              Sweet guitar! Does it have the 496R and 500T in it or are the pickups something else? I am also curious what you would change them too.
