Heres my PRS. Not quite what you were expecting...
As some of you know, Jim was using PRS for the first Stone Sour tour and Slipknots "Iowa" tour. I had always wanted one of his PRS's. So one day I call him up and tell him I want to trade a 1982 Gibson ES-335 for one of his guitars. He's down so I go over to pick one. He sold most of his PRS's to The Hard Rock Cafe so he only had a couple left. This was one of them. Interesting story on these. He had been starting to move away from Jackson so he bought a normal Standard at a guitar shop here in town. He liked them so he had them build him a few. They asked him what he wanted and he said the usual, set neck, 24 frets, moon inlays. They asked what he wanted the fretboard made of. He said Ebony. They said, "No. You don't want ebony. You want Brazillian Rosewood." Jim said "OK". They also made the bodies and necks out of Private Stock Mahogany. Picked for their tonal properties. This is the best sounding guitar I have, hands down. Plays and sounds the best...
Best bridge ever on a PRS too. I don't know why they don't use that bridge more often...
I was only able to find 1 video of Jim using this guitar. It's from SummerSonic when Slipknot was on the "Iowa" tour. I found a video of "People=Shit" and he's playing this bad boy. Wish I could hear Jim in the video...
