        Carvin makes a fantastic 7 string, no doubt! I love Carvins myself, but as mentioned already, neck binding would be even better.

          As Carvin keeps adding older options, I am just waiting for 1 more oldy to come back and I am ordering a new Carvin!! It was called the "ST" body option and it was a big old Strat looking body, not like the sculpted body they use now or the rounded option, I don`t care for either one. Jack.

              that's cool, but the problem is they tack on extra $$ for that older design stuff and that can take this manufacturer out of the "best price option" category. or at least make it real close. Carvins always sold on the reputation of being a lot less $$ for a lot more guitar. that's changing these days IMO.

                  That Carvin Museum website is pretty cool! I was finaly able to figure out that one of the Carvins I had was a 1988-89 or so.
