Just purchased a Godin G-1000 (awesome guitar by the way!) off ebay and since they were discontinued in 1996,i e-mailed Godin to see if someone could give me the specs such as body wood,fretboard radius,ect just to know. Someone e-mailed me back today and although he states the fretboard radius as being 11 (ever hear of an 11" fretboard radius?) what caught me more by surprise is the body wood is either Maple or "Limewood" depending on the production year!! Sounds cool to me but has anyone ever heard of Limewood? I haven`t!!!!
