  • So My Custom Tom Anderson Arrived On Friday... :o)

2007 Anderson Guitars Hollow Drop Top:

My changes from the norm were:

    Reverse headstock
    Jumbo frets
    Rosewood neck
    Natural back finish
Hottest pickups available for neck and bridge positions
Slightly thicker neck than standard (.030" oversized)

It is so acoustically alive and resonant it is just not funny.

Wow, that's awesome, Ivan! Love the reverse headstock. I'm surprised you didn't go for a Floyd.

I've never seen a reverse headstock Anderson before or the 2 bolt neck.
      Is that new?

I originally spec'ed it with a Floyd but, change my mind a month later. 3 of the best sounding guitars that I've played in the world that I dont' own had rosewood necks, chambered bodies, and 2 point non locking trems. I figured that was the magic recipe for tonal success and I was right

The 2 bolt system has been around for 1 year now. Mine is the only 2 bolt with a reverse headstock. I've seen pics of 2 other Anderson's with reverse headstocks thru the years so there aren't very many around.

I love it. More so my taste over the F-series amps. Closer to the Mark series in tone.

Cool. How well does that trem stay in tune? I guess you can't do any real heavy whammy work with it?

Haven't done any whammy stuff yet but, will probably only use it for subtle stuff as I barely use the whammy on my Floyd equipped guitars these days as it is.
