Wow...does it get any better? It looks like it cost $9K! From what your saying it sounds like it too? Awesome guitar, and i love the reverse stock!
Will you pick up any other guitars now? Why??

Thanks Robert, actually I'm seriously thinking about ordering another Anderson with a reverse headstock (different model though--Hollow Cobra S).

He announced that on his website last year. But then a couple of weeks later he had changed his mind - apparently (among other things) due to the overwhelming feedback he got from guitar enthusiasts.

MSRP was $4,529... and I paid 25% off during the no more Anderson orders until the company restructures period. Store I went thru raised their price only 5% (they were 30% off before the announcement). Some Anderson dealers went all the way up to MSRP!

Doesn't the two bolt neck allow more shifting in the neck? If not does it have as much sustain as a 4 bolt? There is just something about it I am skeptical about, not that Tom Anderson is not reputable. Far from it.
I'm gonna eat your brains and gain your knowledge.

Very cool and unique top and color - you don't see that look every day and you won't likely see another reverse headstock in your neighborhood! +1 on the fatter neck - my '96 Classic was +.030 and felt perfect. I really dig the solid Rosewood neck, too, it seems like more of those are showing up from different companies. Schecter was really ahead of their time I guess. Z

The neck and body fit together like puzzle pieces. There is less movement than with a traditional 4 bolt. I daresay, the Anderson Guitars way is the best neck heel/mounting technique of this day and age. I am also partial to Yamaha's from the early '90's like on the high end bolt on Pacifica's.

TA 2-bolt neck joint kicks ass.
