  • Washburn Dime 2ST?

Anyone know about these? The pawn shop here has one at what seems to be a really good price, and I'm tempted to pull the trigger.

MIK, top of the Korean Washburn Dime line IIRC.. If you don't like it I'll buy it off you!

The Dime ST-PRO was the top of the line import, set neck flame tops with schaller floyds and lightning bolt inlays

The 2ST has a bolt in neck inside the neck pickup cavity.

Ah okay, looks like the ST Pro was what I was thinking of then.

They originally sold for around $600. One of the reviews for this on Harmony-Central mentioned being made in China by the way:

There's one on ebay with case for $304:

So if you like it and it has the case, $200 seems pretty good.

Clean it up and put it on Ebay. You'll win.

I was kinda playing with that idea. I'll give it a month and see how I like the shape. I noticed the pickups didn't have the Washburn logo on them, like the one in the auction, and it doesn't show any signs of them having been removed. In fact, they look new, and sound like some Duncan Distortions.
