    1st year well broken in '87 RG550 road flare red with a lot of battlescars.. all original

    plays & look awesome, even with the scars

            I have the Desert Yellow twin to that. Someone put hot pink Dimarzios in it and swapped the knobs for green ones to make it it look like a Jem

                If/when I get an RG550, I'm gonna do the "multi-colour mod", different switch and pickup colours all around!

                      As, you guys probably know they re-issued these this year? The RG 20th in RFR, DY and of course balck. Original Wizard I neck profile, Original Edge trem, etc.

                      Just thought it was worth mentioning.

                              Nice one, The matching headstocks are such a nice finishing touch.

                              I have what I believe is an 88' 550 in Carotene orange, maple board/neck but the standard black headstock. Always loved those bright colors on the RG's and they are great players.
