    Finally got it!

Almost walked away from it due to the poor set up...Why don't music stores make sure they set their shit up? The neck had a bow in it that tool two full turns to straighten out!

Also the balance while standing is BAD! If it want for the fact that it felt balanced while sitting I would have said...No deal! Any suggestions to balance this out by re locating the strap buttons, please help!

I let it be known how I felt about that and that I needed to set it up and see...So they let me take it home and try it.

Once I set it up I could not put it down. The neck alone makes this worth owning. The fret work is flawless...I don't mind the Edge III trem at all and I have OFRs on all my guitars.

This guitar hangs with my XTRR as far as playability goes. Fit and finish isn't "Custom Shop" but it is very good.

Now the pups...D-Activators. I was worried that Dimazio was just going to wind the piss out of a pup for high out put and end up with a Invader...Yuck! Not the case at all. Sounds like they just went with a very evenly toned pup. Very nice. I don't think the are quite as agressive as a EMG but I don't think I'll change em...I espesially like the lead tone I get from em. Great tight bottom end sound. I have a feeling people are going to really like these pups.

For the price...The features like Mah body and 5 pc maple walnut neck...Can't beat it.

Couldn't really captur the gold as well as you see it in person. Red is dominant but when you get the right angle it goes very green and very gold.

That thing is getting cooler the more I look at it! Is the neck Wizard profile? I know the RG42 neck thru has a thicker profile than the bolt ons, which kept me from buying one.

          Wizard II neck profile AFAIK.

I played one of the V blade models yesterday which are pretty much the same as a Xiphos with a V style body... neck-thru, mahogany, Dimarzio D-Activators and all. Nice guitar, though I didn't feel the need to buy it. However I give them props for basically building what I wanted in a Jackson for so long... neck-thru string-thru mahogany V with 24 frets.

Congrats on the purchase. Hope you enjoy it for a long time!

Took it off my want list because of the gunmetal hardware. I replace almost all standard tuning keys with Planet Waves, and they don't make 'em in gunmetal. The angle of the output jack is annoying, too. Neck-through with a Rosewood fingerboard?? Pass.

I'll get the D-Activators and put 'em in something else.
please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking

I expected the neck to be on the thick side but, thick it is not...Nice thin, flat profile. I played a Prestige with a Wizard neck thru and loved it...I know this Wizard II is suppose to be thicker but it doesn't feel thicker.

The Edge III is nice too...All my trem guitars have OFRs and this works just as well...Maybe it will wear sooner but it feels very nice.

I have very fussy fingers and this guitar does not dissapoint.

I love Platet Waves but these tuners feel very good. The output jack is great. I know some people say it is in the way but, my leg fits under the jack nicely while sittin just like my XTRR. Maybe those with bigger legs might have trouble.

Necro: I like ebony best but the rosewood they stuck on this is very nice with tight grain. With the color of the guitar it work quite nice too.

For $650 you figured they could've put a better trem on it. The Edge III is the only thing that is steering me away from one of these.

It is smooth and stays in tune. Didn't take any getting used to after playing OFRs for the passed 7 years either. $650 for mahogany body, 5 pc maple/walnut neck thru and a hard shell fitted case...Great value IMO.

I'm pretty sure they are Korean. I might buy one myself if only for the paintjob

I bought some of thos 3M sticky wall hangers...The kind that come off by bulling the tab. Gunna try a few different strap button locations. Don't worry..I won't jump around!

Yeah Ron...How is that Rand V? Trust me...I wanted a warrior, but they are hard to find for this price.

Okay...I tried the wall hangers...Stuck them every place I thought would work...All location were better thab Ibanez placed them

What worked best? Just look at a Neck thru Warrior! Should have known. Now I just gotta nail em in...Nah...I'll screw em in instead. ;O) BTW the stick things came off without a mark.
