  • Put a dimarzio in my self-built Jazzmaster.

As you guys can tell there's no selector switch. I wired the humbucker directly and left the neck single coil in just for looks. But it sounds really good, the pine body and the long string travel makes for a very versatile sound from only one pickup.

Yeah, I definitely smell a pork product of some type.

Love the look of the guitar, especially the fretboard!

      Can't go wrong with dimarzio

I'm curious about the pine body. A lot of the Tele guys swear by them.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

Why did you go with that stop tail? to give it more of a jazzmaster look? if you used a LP stop tail, your guitar would look the way the Mark Morton should have looked. The lower horn of the current Mark Morton just looks wrong. I much prefer this body shape.

Funny you should mention that one, I made a strikingly similar guitar two years prior to the Norton appearing.

As for the tailpiece, it's a fully fuctional Tremolo.
