Bill Nash Van Halen 1 Guitar

Anyone own any of Bill Nash's guitars? I have a chance to get one that he made. Its a VH-1 Copy but i've never played one and have just started seeing his name pop up on the internet in the past year. ANy input would be appreciated.

Nash made a VH? Pretty cool for a guy that builds extremely vintage strats and teles for a living. From what I´ve heard he makes very good stuff at a fair price, but I haven´t tried one myself.

I think your best bet for opinions on Nash is over at thegearpage.net, since "small company" strats are all the rage over there.

All the Bill NAsh stuff ive seen have been parts by somebody else (ie Fender) that he reliced. Nice stuff but not really anythign specail or ;laying any differant that a Fender or others already do. We have a cpl at work. Nicely done relics but thats about it.

I picked up the NASH Van Halen 1! Since he is a Relic maker, he did this Van halen the same. The body is BLACK KORINA! Freaking incredible. The black stripes are the actual grain which is real cool. Cocked pickup, same pickguards screw holes, Pick up mounted into the body, vintage bridge, and a Pick up by a guy on the web called Peter Florence who does a model called THE VOODOO PAF (57-59)- INSANE INSANE INSANE!

Neck was is very cool les paul feel (just like eds original) with 6105 frets, if anyone wants to see some Bill Nash Van Halen Guitar Porn, shoot me an email and I'll let you have a look.

The cool thing is that BILL WILL NEVER DO ANOTHER VAN HALEN order again, this is a ONE OFF.

The wood grain really looks BLACK like the Black Stripes on Eds guitar but when you get 2 feet away you then see the Korina Wood Grain.

This guitar PLAYS SO FRICKEN AWSOME! I cant remember the last "Charvel" I played that played as good as this one!!

The guitar was custom ordered out of France through Nash Guitars, and when the guy recently sold it he was asking 2200.00 (1650.00 in euros) Heres the link with photos of his own and check out the COOL CONVERSE!!!!!

Bro, you can't even imagine! Just think early EVH in every aspect! The pick up is made only partially potted so with the wood it give great overtones.
