  • I Am Done With Ibanez

    Today I took the trem out on my Ibanez to figure out why I kept having issues with it breaking strings, binding distorting, and strings popping out of the saddle. I found why; on the bass side post, some idiot probably didn't put it in tight, and over time it cracked the wood ,allowing it to shift and move around. I must say, this is the last guitar by Ibanez I am buying. Its barely 3 months old, and now it needs major repair work. That being said, is it worth it to get this fixed or is the body pretty much done for?

    Did you buy new? I'd look into getting it fixed under warranty.

      I'm not even going to bother.

      (b) damage or defects due to alteration, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, extremes of temperature or humidity or abnormal strain; (c) accidental or intentional damage;
      Ibanez would probably throw it back at me and say I did something to damage to it.

        I'd take it back out of principle, if I paid good money for something I'd make fucking damn sure that if it bust in 3 months I'd go ballistic at them until I got my money back or the problem was rectified.

        If you don't ask you don't get, but I'm like that now I'm getting older. Don't accept shit from them.

            I'd take my cock out in the shop and start fwopping it against some of the guitars. I'm sure they'd sort the problem out pronto just to get me out of the shop.

                  they'd probably thank you for doing that as it would stop kids playing any and every guitar they can reach.

                          You can't let that kind of garbage stand. I would take it back if I were you. If not for you, for the other people that will buy Ibanez guitars and be let down. Don't let shitty Ibanez quality control walk all over you!

                            I love my Ibanez guitars. Return it and have them replace it.

                              That's classic. Anyway, thanks people, I guess I'll try to go to GC and see what they can do. Ibanez WILL do something if GC can't, even if I have to ram the guitar down their throats.
