I think they were going for the verb, "to move with a quick, sharp motion". I don't think it translates well.

Right. Or maybe it stands for Japanese Edition Reissue Kramer. :ROTF:

If it said Charvel would you still think it's overpriced?

I can't say I'm really a big fan of that model, but if you want to see it in action here's a video of one being played: http://youtube.com/watch?v=6vhBxs7RVcY

Ikebe has it priced as 165,000.00 JPY = 1,358.39 USD

I never thought of the model name being a reference to EVH but it makes sense now, lol, that's a good one.

Apparently the Japanese have a fascination with many things American-including the 80's!

                Nice tone and playing though!

Circuit V has a really eclectic collection of custom ESP guitars. in addition to a ton of his archtop Rhoads' types, he has a few cool one-offs, like his ESP replica of the Green Meanie, except his being red.

It's interesting, that guy's playing on a backing track in this video. And there's a video of Syu playing to the same backing track.

This is an awesome recorded guitar solo by Syu, guitarist for Japanese bands Galneryus and Aushvitz, as well as Valkyr and Animetal.
                        I wish my hair-color was EDS :/

                          Well, yeha... I'd say it's a 1.6k guitar.

so somehow this is a swipe at Eddie?

how is the banana headstock an ESP thing? it's a Gibson invention that ESP copied. I mean I like the really nice ESP guitars like the Kamikaze and those old Hetfield explorers but how is ESP in any position to call Eddie a jerk? (a lot of others are in that position, but how would ESP be?)
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

I think they must have both been recorded at Young Guitar or at ESP's music institute.
