I picked my explorer (Gibson) shop soiled. it had many dings and a bent volume. The finish has started to crackle no bigie. however the fret board is not on flush with the neck. for $600 (thank you guitar/music center Chicago) and the fret work is shabby. so do I have it re finished or live with it a bit battered?

battered.... it will cost more to paint it, than what you, paid for it.
