Damn! That thing is cool! Try an 89, I think the single coil split will sound cool.

I had to show off the paint. It's made in Japan. Just a hum and a pot and lots of space in the cavity. If there ever was a guitar to start my soldering lessons on, this is it.

I think you'll find soldering guitar electronics to be a let down it's terribly simple! What is the bridge? some sort of early lo pro?

That's a very cool knob. The upper strap button in a bomerang. I have another one. A pair go for $40.

This looks very very good. As shiny as your trailer.
                  I wish my hair-color was EDS :/

That's an early Edge. Don't change it out for an OFR, it'll be fine as is
                    Very nice score there, congrats!

It was at my local pawnshop. It was hanging on the wall but I couldn't see a price. So I go the guy and ask to see it. He says; "You can get that down". I'm 6'6" tall. He said; "I would have to use a ladder.":ROTF: So, I get it down. He looked at the tag and said; "$140." I said, "Done". He takes the 'tar and asked another dude whether $140 was OK. Being the good customer I am, he said; "I don't care.":ROTF: BTW, the tag was $199.00.

Nice! There is a similar one of those on the bay right now, but the opening bid is like $399.
