The guitar can't be a custom shop order, it must be a readily available production model. (signature guitars, standard series, etc)

Id probably buy that ESP sword guitar... its just badass and if I had 8k to spend, Id buy that and have 4k left to buy some J/C's.

There are not much guitars that sell for 8K. You have limited choices.

So, I think most people would buy a PRS Private Stock.
