A Rick Turner "Lindsay Buckingham" featherweight, one of the best guitars I've ever played.

Are we Limited to one guitar?

I'd likely just get a nice usa strat and modify the pickups for h-s-h defintaely give it a different pickguard aswell...

Yep, one guitar. A strat with an SRV pup in the neck and an EMG81 in bridge would be cool

I didn't know Caparison makes a 7 and an RR now. That's pretty cool. I might have to change my vote to the Caparison RR

Exactly. Construction gets only so good. Materials only so good.

Expense corelates not only with quality but also economies of scale. A guy like Ken Lawrence is one guy who is busy and builds like 12 guitars a year or less so you pay through the nose.

Jackson or Moser custom shops are as good as it gets when it comes to shred style guitars period. Playability, tone, craftsmanship etc... You won't find a better guitar anywhere and these will cost about $4K or less.

No Jackson? No custom shop? I couldn't spend $8000 on one stock guitar.
                              Fuck ebay, fuck paypal
