Yeah-and he claimed the picture he had of his store was just 1/6th of the stock he got from Class Axe

I call Bullshit on that, especially as I personally asked Randy Waltuch, owner of Class Axe,if what zEd claimed, was true

Randy told me zEd only got a third of what he claimed from Class Axe-so where did the other 2/3rds come from?-I'll let you guys add up 2+2

I saw a Bich bass for sale on Ebay last year, and contacted B.C.Rich about it,telling them of this FAKE for sale on Ebay, gave them the link/serial number of the bass and even it's zEd R certificate of AUTHENTICITY:ROTF:
They didn't want to know,it would seem B.C.Rich's owners HHI doesn't possess the same set of Balls Ernie Ball Musicman does

I wouldn't buy a Fender from him,it'll probably be a Marlin with a Fender Logo

        TP Vinnie Vincent pics

Did it say 'Pear' on the headstock? The only person that Vinnie agreed to have his guitars made was Tom Palecki of Pear Design. The 'Ed Roman thing' was a farce as far as the VV's were involved as the '3V' was not Ed Roman's design. Here is the original with info courtesy of Tom himself:

        From Tom:

"I don't believe Ed Roman ever made any as he asked me to do it for him. Sounds like a good thing I didn't. By the way, I heard that it's all over the Ernie Ball forum that Ed sold his store and retired. Anyone else hear anything?
I have construction photos of the original "3V" and will post some if I can figure out how to. Tried before but couldn't get the posting page to cooperate. Any hints?

A few more tidbits about the 3V:

        • The whole thing is solid maple, neck through construction.
        • Pickups, Seymour Duncan PAFs.
        • Trem, old Floyd Rose, no fine tuners.
        • The pickups and trem were supplied by Vinnie.
        • Headstock V was made separately and pinned & glued on.
        • Color scheme (looks much better in person) is white to neon pink
to neon purple to black. Shadow fin colors are in reverse order.
        • He sent me a signature sample and I made an enlarged decal which
was applied to the color coat before clear coating. So in the event
that he wanted another guitar or two I could make another decal and
use it instead of tracking Vinnie down for another signature.

So that should give you guys something to chew on for a while and
probably lots more questions to ask. I'll fill in as much as I can later.

The guitar is the same one in the picture Ed Roman had on his website but I don't think he ever built any because he had asked me to do it for him. Never worked out a final deal though. I had sent him the picture to get his attention on another deal I wanted to talk to him about.
And so yes, I can make them, but more on that later.

More in the continuing saga of the 3V . . .

One major gotcha' in the whole affair. I just want to warn anyone concerned that Vinnie has "design patents" and other "copyrights" on all of his "Brand" including names, logos, products (guitars) etc. So, anyone copying his stuff could get chased by his lawyers unless specifically authorized by contract to be doing so. Vinnie has allowed me this special privilege, signed on the dotted line, for me to build specifically, 3V copies at this time. As I said earlier, I'm in the process of moving my shop out of California to Arizona. Details to be forth coming as I get set up in my new location. I will be building the copies there when all is ready. I'll also be talking to Vinnie regarding copies of his older designs as well. Pricing on all of the instruments to be determined.

Please don't ask me for any other details about Vinnie as I'm also bound by the contract not to talk about such things, not to mention the fact that he really doesn't tell me much anyway.

Vinnie still has the 3V and told me it's still his favorite guitar. He was using it in the studio in Southern California during the time he was working on Revenge with Kiss. I'm sure he was also using it on his Guitarmagedon stuff too. I also did an album cover concept for Guitarmagedon and will post it as soon as I can find it in my vast library of photos.

Vinnie put a stop to Ed Roman doing the guitars because Ed didn't have authorization to make them. That's when Vinnie called me. To see what I knew about the affair. I told him that Ed got the photo from me, as I said previously, regarding a different deal I that I wanted to talk to Ed about. So that's when Vinnie asked me if I wanted to build them as a joint venture with him. I said yes, once I got the shop moved and that's where it's at right now.

On the Guitarmageddon album I have no idea what Vinnie did after I gave him the guitar. He said he was working on the album but again I don't know. I have some old friends that told me he was selling his album on his website back in the mid 90's but by the time I looked into it the website was down. So I was in the dark until he contacted me about doing the new guitar. That was after he got after Ed R. for advertising it.

The last time I talked to Vinnie back in '92' he told me that I could build and sell copies which I did advertise in my monthly BAM Magazine ad but never got a nibble so I just forgot about trying. We'll see how it goes again in a few months from now. In a couple of weeks I'll be off-line for a while as I do my major move. I'll stop in every couple of days untill then.

        TP"

I went to his store this weekend while I was in Vegas....he had hardly and stock left and still had the 3 anniversary charvels mentioned earlier in this thread...The people that were working there kept stating that they were dealing...so my friend asked about a sambora doubleneck that was covered with dust/grime and needed a setup bad and I asked about a guitar body with a graffic that no one would want (a skeleton skateboarding)...well good news... the sambora could be had for 8900.00 and the body only 475.00...
