  • Wayne, Michael's, mine...

Michael Angelo Batio played this on a couple of songs live in CT on 7/3/07 where I teched for him:

After a 3.5 hour meal and drinks with my wife and I, we came home with this thing...

This Ritz 'Rocket' is 1 of 2 in the world built by Wayne Charvel for Michael Angelo Batio. It was designed by MAB and Jim Gillette. It was featured on MTV (live on Headbanger's Ball), used on the 'Freight Train' video, used on the 'Speed Kills' video (as well as the song 'No Bounderies'), used on the entire 'OFR' tour during the Nitro days, and also used on the second Nitro album 'H.W.D.W.S'..

We did I trade actually. I had two of his doubles, one of which was a prototype. I still have the Mach VII Jet double and gave him back his 'Blueburst' hardtail Dean double.

drew, i have to, need to say...your guitar acquisitions are really an art form.

this guitar is rad. the story is almost even better.

                  congrats, bro!!

                      >Thanks man< And can you believe my wife feels the same? I'm truly blessed

We did the trade by mail and I actually brought it with me. It was brought home in freshly played condition.

Michael was kind enough to send this my way earlier last month:

BTW, we have not given up on finding the other half of the Ritz 'Quad'.

It's sitting in someone's possession and Michael would like it back, no questions asked.
