I've owned just about every model and year Ibanez, Charvel, Jackson, ESP, Washburn, BC Rich, Fender, and Carvin guitar ever made with a Floyd. Several Steinbergers too.

The best double locking system on the planet IMHO... is the high end Ibanez stuff with the pop in bars.

Far more than I can recall, I currently have 5 OFR guitars but am not a OFR purest...I also have 5 Kahler'd guitars...I dig both but don't use a trem much at all these days...far less than in the 80's.

I had a Ibanez RG27SP. Great guitar, Shitty Trem! the trem was a Lo-trs2. I bough the guitar for $250 from redicash (pawnbroker). Had it setup and the 2nd & 3rd string would not stay in tune whatsoever. was on Jemsite and the lo-trs doesn't seem to be popular over there the last time I checked.

I got rid of the guitar after 2 weeks of having it. I actually regret it, the neck was comfortable to play and fast etc..but, I couldn't justify getting a brand new OFR for it as the bridge would of costed more than the guitar.

I was going to do a project (bought a eden guitar body off ebay) but then only find out that the body will accept wilkinson/vintage trems but not a floyd trem (also will only accept an eden neck), so I'm going to do the guitar up for my brother for his birthday.

I've wanted a Kramer 1984 Reissue for a while, but..as the guitar is over $1000 + post in Aus $, customs will charge heaps (the price of the guitar + post + customs, the total could be well over $2000), So I'm looking into getting a Kramer striker (music yo) or a guitar with an OFR locally around here.

it would probably be easier to list what didn't have a floyd/Kahler :ROTF:

Charvel model 6 White (OFR) -wish I kept that one
                        Fender Strat with floyd

i had 68 guitars at peak acquisition, alot had floyds, a decent amount had kahlers, and the least were standard. Most were Charvels, GMW's, Jacksons, and great fakes and mutts.
Not helping the situation since 1965!
