  • Anyone ever play a Carvin Holdsworth?

They look kind of ugly but I am curious how do they sound?

I played a used trans green one at the GC here and it was light as hell. that was the main thing I remember. 5 lbs maybe? this was GC with all the kids making all their noise and I didn't have a lot of time so I just got the most cursory tryout with it. it sounded very clean and full. funny little headstock and the warped Tele shape does not do it for me though.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

It's light because it's a sort of hollow-body type thing. I'm wondering mostly what they sound like distorted

There are two versions: one is truly hollow (Fat Boy) and one is more like a semi-hollow body. They are both fantastic guitars. They both sound great with distortion. But the Fat Boy will squeal like any hollow body will if you have tooo much gain tooo loud.

I have a Fat Boy and love it - but I don't use it for metal.

I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.
