I always enjoy these kinds of pics, and I had some time today, so I thought I would line up the family and take a few pics. Here's my current line-up:

    From L to R, you're looking at:

    1. 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Ash Strat, with replacement Musikraft neck. The neck is quartersawn maple in a "Thin D" profile, with a 10-16" compound radius flame maple fretboard, abalone top and side markers and 6105 frets.
    2. JEM 77 BRMR with replacement neck, with Ebony fretboard and vine inlay with a green mirror stem and pearl leaves (it's hard to see the green in the vine in this pic).
    3. Charvel SD1 Koa
    4. JEM 7VWH
    5. Jackson Dragon Dinky
    6. JEM 10th
    7. VG Strat

Why did you change the necks, in the first place?
      I wish my hair-color was EDS :/

Thanks, guys! It's fun to share these with people who appreciate them.

I changed the necks because a JEM 77 BRMR comes with a plain rosewood fretboard and dots with no scallops, and that just doesn't cut it for a JEM, IMO. I wanted Ebony, a vine and scallops. So, I got a custom neck made. And while I was at it, I had him add a bit of color to the vine, making the stem green mirror and the leaves pearl, and also had him install graphite rods in the neck for stability and make it a 3-piece with a Bubinga center.

Here are a few more pics showing the JEM with its original neck, then the new neck, showing the color in the vine better, and finally, a shot of the back of the new neck, showing its 3-piece maple/bubinga construction:

On the Strat, I wanted Tobacco Sunburst, S-1 electronics and the contoured heel, which are all featured on the 50th Ann. Am Dlx Ash Strat, but I wanted a flame maple neck. I got this Strat off eBay, and it came with a rosewood board, so I decided to try a Musikraft neck, which, incidentally, is something I'd been wanting to do for a long time.
