  • Signature Guitar Co.

    The first two I have are 87-89 bolt-on units built by LaSiDo.

    Just picked up a third one which is an 1989 Larrivee built Signature Visionary

    Specs:
    - 3pc maple neck (through body)
    - Bound ebony fretboard and flame maple headstock
    - Gretch style mini dots, MOP at 12th and 21st fret
    - R1 nut
    - Limewood Alder body wings
    - Bookmatched and carved flame/quilt maple top
    - Gold Schaller HW (Floyd, nut, tuners, allen key holder, straplocks)
    - Seymour Duncan Trembucker w/split tone pot, (2) Hot Stack SCs
    - Form fitted Everest case

    Nice!!!

    But is it me, or does the recess cavity look a little overkill?

    It almost looks like the floyd is not suppose to be there.

            I'ld love to have one (neck thru s/s/s ) but have only seen a neck thru bass.

                I think it's a bigger route to allow for it to be finished as the rest of the top is, usually routes are not finished like that.

                    Thanks for the kind words!

                    I guess the trem route sticks out enough for some to focus on that...oh well...
                    Regardless they are killer players, amazingly crafted by great Canadian guitar luthiers and are relatively rare historical artwork to my eye...

                        Those are sweet, and I actually like the large Floyd route.

                        Killer guitars, especially the red one. You're lucky to own it; I'm sure those are incredibly scarce.

                          Yeah, he was actually instrumental in getting the company up and running. He played their axes for several years. I always wanted a white one with a bridge hum and 2 singles, but they are hard to come by. An excellent collection!
