Could not pass on this....I have one on the way. I know NOTHING about these....but it was weird enough and cheap enough to fork over $149. Musicians Friend has them. List $599, regular $419, sale $149....free shipping.

I opted for the double humbucker model.

I have been fighting the GAS for a couple of weeks on this one. That is just stinking cheap. How you give us a review on the guitar when you get it. Last time I looked the black one wasn't $149, but the blue looked good.

Don't you have to get special SpeedLoader strings? How much do those run?

The strings are a bit pricey at $10 per pack.
But yes, you can only use those strings.

It's an import Ping trem, not the better one they use on the higher end models. I'm sure it's still pretty decent either way.

I'd like to read a review sometime as well...

Those always facinated me. Maybe it's that headstock. Sans tuners...
                          I'm angry because you're stupid

Man thats a lot of money for strings. I just checked it and thats what they cost. Dean Markley has a set for $8.99 but that is still to much.

Mine is nice. H-S-S .1 5/8 nut. My neck is one piece of straight grain wood all the way to the tip of the headstock. Good or bad, it's one piece of wood. It's a fairly flat contour both on the back and front of the neck. It weighs a little under 8 pounds. It's a little body heavy, but no big deal. The paint is nice. Mine is blue. The trem seems fine. I paid $129 used. $149 new is a screaming deal.
