Here's a pic of a new prototype that Nocturne Guitars in the UK built for me.
Its is EXTREMELY over the top.. purposely, seeing that its the only one.. just in case anyone ever wanted to "liberate" it ..they'd really only be able to hide in the bathroom and play it. It ain't for everyone... so here's the specs.
Alder Body
3pc maple neck w/ birdseye maple fingerbaord. single black pearl cross inlay at the 12th fret. Reverse headstock. 27 Jumbo frets, 25.5 scale.
Schaller Floyd Rose
1 volume
3 way switch, 2 custom pups from the man himself, Steve Blucher @ DiMarzio.

Its a proto for a sig model, so it didn't cost me anything.. I just have to play whatever they send me and give them cold honest feedback.
The pups are variations of a couple of things.. the neck is basically a Chopper.. the bridge is a cross between an Evo and a Super3. Bringing the bottom end of things up in tightness and intensity of harmonic overtones.

A mix between super 3 and Evo? Would love to hear that pickup, and nice guitar to!
