Yeah, it's too nice to Frankenstein it. I'll just fix her up, maybe eventually get a refinish.

The previous owner tried to shield it with aluminum kitchen foil. That's what you see sticking out by the pickups.

Apparently, these cost about 1350 US dollars brand new back in the day.

        Looks awesome!
        Rare too...great snag

        Shaller HB?
Trem looks like it's not a Schaller...Takeguchi or Wilkinson?
        Ebony fretboard?

Squire is not even close to that thing.

You can tell that they made the Kramer Paul Deans

I had a Schon that was made by them and it was a very high quality guitar.Should be Schaller pickups which kick ass by the way.Looks like a Gotoh bridge but still maybe a Schaller unit.Great deal you got those very hard to find.
          Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Cool guitar, and it has 24 frets. Did the later Larrivees have Schaller pickups? According to the Larrivee's the pickups in my Custom were hand wound by Jean at his kitchen table...............

Trem is a Gotoh. It's probably pretty decent, as Larrivee never cheaped out on parts or materials.

I can't remember what pickups were in mine, but I know they sounded great.

There are no visible markings on the pups so I don't know what they are. I do know that the sound is awesome. No other markings on the trem other than the Larrivee logo and the usual "licensed..."

We don't have Guitar Center here in Finland. I got it at a privately owned little shop here in town.

didn't Kee Marcello play one of those in a Europe video?

he made it sound pretty damn good.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Yeah, he played Larrivee guitars. If I remember correctly I've seen a couple of pics of him with a yellow one.

I actually sold mine this weekend, great guitar but the neck was to thin for me (and I bought it because of Kee playing Larrivee's)

the trem on mine was made by Gotoh and the pups by Evans

Holy Crap! That is probably the nicest one I've seen yet. I've never seen a bolt-on before though.

Do you guys know if an original Floyd Rose will fit? I'm thinking about replacing the trem on mine.
