Man, you should have took the Evans out before dumping the guitar..........

you like the evans ? ( I think a friend of mine still has some NOS)
I did not ask much for the larrivee as I did not pay much for it anyway and it just took up to much space and I have some other guitars left

I find Evans to have all the best advantages of the EMGs but without the battery. You can crank mega distortion thru them and they remain silent.........

the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

I know this thread is a little bit old -but anyway. I was looking at different version of "Flight of the bumblebee" on youtube. And I found this:
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Didn't know Kee Marcello played it live. But I was curious what make the guitar was so i went to jcfonline (the source of all important information) and I did a search on Kee Marcello -and then i found this thread :-)
Anyone who can tell more about his guitar or know where to find it?

btw i like Kee's version better than Mrs. Batten.
                Claus.

                  This might be useful:

"...I took that guitar with me when I went on vacation a week before the tour started where I met Kee Marcello at a club where he was playing, and he had got one of the first Jackson that came to Sweden. I told Kee that his guitar was no good it had cracks in the fingerboard and it had Kahler* tremolo and that is a sh*t tremolo. I told him to try my Larrivee with Floyd Rose, which he did, and became complete 'lost' in that guitar and he bought it (Editors note - there's the salesman for you). Two months later Kee became a member of the Swedish group 'Europe'. I called him the day after it was announced in the news to tell him that his Larrivee was ready for collection (Editors note - great timing!). Europe was very big in Europe and they were going on a European tour in 87, and that gave the Larriveé electric guitar a massive boost..."

Yes, but the Gotoh is a high quality unit too.

These guitars were made in North Vancouver Canada before they moved the plant to the US. Keith Scott from Bryan Adams played a white one on the album and tour that had Summer of 69 on it. You can see it in the Heaven video, when they played at Live Aid and on Saturday Night Live and David Letterman (to name a few televised perfomances). He also played some Charvels on this tour. My personal opinion is that these guitars were made to compete with the Charvel/Jackson offerings at the time. They offered the same "made to order options" as Jackson but at 1/2 the price in Canadian $. Hope this helps.

I believe that's where many of the Kramer American Series necks were made...non-descending block logo circa 1986. Fantastic quality products.
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.

Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.
