Stopped at GC tonight, to see if they had any shipping boxes for my guitar I'm sending out. While I was there, just as I'm about to leave, I see the one guitar that I've been dying to check out: A Parkwood Hybrid. I had seen the video with Greg Howe jamming on it, and raving about it, and it DID look and sound interesting: a hybrid Electric/Acoustic. I all I can say is I was even MORE impressed, once I played it. Man, that thing had a really nice feel to it, and the tones were quite nice, in BOTH territories. Took me a little bit to get the hang of the knob and switch layout, but once I did, it was smooth sailing. I'm primarily an electric player, but I find the need for an acoustic once in a while. I WAS thinking about getting a LP this spring, but this one just might have changed my mind on my next equipment purchase.
