  • Gibson 50th Ann Gold LP Custom

Just saw that new Gibson Custom Shop 1957 50th Anniversary Les Paul Custom in the gold finish at my local GC.

Visually stunning, as was the pricetag.

Nobody may care but I was reading in the GC circular that with your purchase of the custom gold guitar you will be invited to take a private tour of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville.

those look horrible imo. esp the headstock.
this is the one that was in the recent GC mailer?
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

          I saw it too....
If some people like and buy Deans, there has got to be a market for these as well. C'mon.

Way to much bling for me. I have 4 Les Pauls, and thankfully I don't feel the need for any more (well, there is a 2003 R0 Brazillian on ebay, but at $6,900 the last time I checked, it's way out of my ballpark already).

is an attention grabber, but i wouldnt say it was right, or good looking on

Yes, it was the one in the circular. Not a LP guy myself but it does grab your attention in person and the case too. Perfect guitar for Sha Na Na to tour with.
