I'm a Strat lover but that does nothing for me...it would take me about 5 minutes to get sick of the rocketship inlay and about 5 seconds to get sick of the crap all over the body.
I do,however, like this one that I just got...
My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.
I'm not a big fan of the stars and rocket, but I do like the 70's head.
I had a regular custom shop strat (from eBay...) and I sold it after I got a Malmsteen strat, the former sounded dead in comparison.

exciting
Say, I smell bacon.Does anyone else smell bacon?
Yeah, I definitely smell a pork product of some type.
talked Ron Thorn I REALLY got into it as there is sooo much skill and art in doing something like that.
HEHEHEHEHEEEE!---HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA
Not so much art or skill involved when you mention R Thorn. Everything he does is with CNC. His machines do great work though....(roll)
I dunno why, but on this forum I just cant access emoticons. Hope it don't seem too *harsh* without them... but man.... I laughed when I saw skill/art in the same sentence with thorn... because I thought *everyone* knew his inlay was done on CNC. His work is just about flawless because of this, but only computer skills, and no "art".
You want Skill and art.... see hand cut inlay with hand engraving by truely skilled artisans like "CSuttle" at http://www.sharkinlay.com/
He inlaid some of the NAMM minarik guitars. The guitars are hideous, but the inlay work was superb- and all done by hand.
