I can see their appeal. Teles like that are classic for suure.. I still hate the tele shape though and I find them uncomfortable, I'm more of a strat/V guy (:

See, I'd thought that since you were a Strat guy, that you would dig them. I'm a Strat guy, and found them to be quite easy to slip into, and I didn't find the tone to be all that different. However, since I'm a somewhat big guy, a Tele is rather dwarfed up against me. Definitely more of a short, puney guy guitar.
