there is NO such thing as a "jersey" series. what you're referring to is the NJ series, which originally stood for Nagoya Japan. that said, the NJs haven't been made there in a long long time.

I dont think the gunslinger was ever offered as an import. R logo'd gunslingers are hens teeth only a handful of customs. Script logo was the norm. TM logo & CA prefixed stamped serial# on the headstock are class axe MADE. BO, prefix is post 94 2nd rico era. They vary since they were introduced at the end of the Rico 1st era.

BC's are all a bit old to me, the first ones I played were the R logo, wish I would have held on to the ones I had...gone a thousand trades ago. Wasn't suited to my style at the time, and anything other than a late 50-s-early 60's strat or 59 LP burst didn't mean much back in the early 80's.

There are some that say outlaw on the headstock. those I would think were made in korea. Look for the ones with the USA on the headstock and no TM after the logo. the ones with graphics are going for about $650 on ebay right now and the non graphics are going between $400-600. Look for the BINS in the four hundreds. Great guitars.
I just picked this one up.
