sorry Gil I don't think they did. Their bodies designed off of the ST design but are straight sides instead of rounded. I don't thing the STs are as large of a body as a strat either but are closer in looks.

AWESOME slingers....you can also check out mason bernard. they were Bernie's line of super strats, during the class axe period. basically a gunslinger with a different headstock, & no fretboard inlays. alot of them also had a neck single coil which is nice. but they used the same basic specs as ST-3's & gunslingers. I honestly think they were a little more consistent in quality.

So the Gunslingers were equipped with only one humbucker? The one I'm looking at has two, so I take it that the neck hum has been added later...

I seem to recall that not long after the Gunslinger came out, they did a model called the Assassin, which was a bolt-on too, had the reverse headstock, one humbucker and a single coil at the neck. Maybe it is one of those?
I see that BC Rich still do an Assassin, with 2 humbuckers, but it doesn't bear much resemblance to the model I remember. Their website says:

"In 1986, there were other double cutaways that B.C. Rich began making with various headstocks, pickup configurations, controls and finishes"

Maybe you are looking at one of these bastard guitars that falls in between the established models and the seller has decided it is a Gunslinger because it has more of those particular features.

            Go buy it anyway!!
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

            I nearly broke her back

Boy, do I feel stupid. I never was deep into BCR guitars, but I do like the headstock shape and the gunslinger line. I always thought NJ was New Jersey, and as I flew out of Newark, NJ last Saturday on the plane I was looking out wondering where that New Jersey BC Rich factory was located

I've seen some with black diamond inlays - were those desirable or a lesser import?

                Assassin. Gunslingers are one-hum wonders.

What is really going to mess with your head is that all the ones with floyds are made in Korea in the cort factory. The NJs were only made in Japan for a short time.

BCR is NOT the company they once were.

Could be a Gunslinger II, maybe?

Here's my factory (custom, I'm guessing, as I haven't seen any other outfitted quite the same way, plus the iridescent finish) 2 x slanted hum "Gunslinger":

Easily one of the best feeling and playing guitars I've ever encountered.

Ooh yeah! That's got CC DeVille written all over it!
(Which is a good thing, BTW)

You do know CC had all of his axes stollen recently (maybe a year ago). I never heard if they ever caught the guy or found the guitars.

And no, I don't have any BC Rich guitars.

Jeez, now that man must have a LOT of guitars, remember all those videos, different one each scene. Didn't he sell most of them for smack?
If he built up a collection again, I wonder how many he lost?

Anyway Eristic, nice guitar, I have informed Interpol, they are on their way round! :ROTF:
