Aria Pro salvaged, what model?

My singer dropped this off to me, covered in smoke, dirt and oxidation having been outside at his campground. No nut, oxidized frets, no wiring, no pickup screws, switch screws... just a filthy unwired mess.

I cleaned the shit out of it, polished the frets, rewired the whole guitar, cut a new nut, strung it up and intonated it. It sounds really good! The pups are hot, actually thump my amp well. The middle position hum cancels, very cool little guitar. What model is this? Some kind of Blackmore thing? It also has a fixed bridge, I can't seem to find this model anywhere.

Well, its one of their newer ones. I would say its from anywhere from the mid 90s to early 2000s. I think it was made in Korea. The STG series was a low end model (Aria still uses that name today). The few I've played weren't bad but don't seem as good as earlier Aria Pro IIs like some of the Knight warriors. Thats about all I know. Glad you like it!

Thanks man, my singer will be happy to have something to play on, too bad it's not for me! Very solid with the fixed bridge, the neck feels like an old Aria I used to have in the 80's.
