New guitar day..My chromed Yamaha Pacifica 1221 MS

Just got this one yesterday. Awesome neck,Fred in the bridge,doubleneck
kinda heavy!! I'm really loving this one......it sounds great,really alot of
great tones from the various positions.

Yeah,I remember when Yamaha was producing them. I thought the 1221s
and the 1421s were right up there with the top line Jackson/Ibanez/ESPs.
As for the chrome....though I wasn't going crazy trying to get something
chrome,I was dying to get an upper level Pacifica. The chrome was kind
of an added bonus. It's certainly kinda different.

Thanks Robert. I saw a blue one on the Bay last week......right after I got
this one. I myself dont remember the single cutaway ones,but it was over
15 years ago when these were in their heyday. The chrome as I'm sure
you know wasn't from the factory. Whoever did it though knew what they
were doing. It came out pretty good.

Saw that one for sale over on HC for a while. Pacifica's are great guitars - I've had about a half dozen of the higher end ones, and they were all great.

That's beautiful, man! One-of-a-kind with that chrome too! I have an RGX 1221 and a 1220, they're the 24/75" scale neck-through pointy headstock models. Kind of their Fusion-scale Soloist entry, and I love them. But I always jonesed for a Pacifica 1221 too, they're flashy yet have a classic look in their way. Congratulations!

Thanks man,I've been trying to snag one for awhile myself. A couple of
months ago there was a Pacifica 1421 that ended up going for just a
little over $400 on the Bay. I was at work when it ended unfortunately.
Not this time though!! I got it with a best offer of $525 shipped.
