  • Strummer Telecaster

I'm looking on the fender web sire and it does not say if the Strummer Telecaster is going to be a limited edition model? I'm a big clash fan and I do not have the cash for 1 right now. if I can get 1 in a couple of months that's way better than sticking it on my credit card right now.

The guitar itself is not limited but the collection of stickers and stencils designed by the artist and intended to allow for your own customization of the guitar is limited to the first 1,500 gutars I believe.

I think I read somewhere they were thinking of making a cheaper version as well or something.

I played his back-up telecaster in a shop in London once. It was also blonde. It was probably the nicest fender I've played too date.

My mistake, the new one is Mexican made and Larz is right about the limited stickers and stencils. I read that they are thinking of making a custom shop one later this year or next...
          Woohoo another £9000 tele I can't afford!

LOL Scott (Stuka) uses those on his guitars. I started using them on one of my guitars as well.

I never understood buying a Signature guitar? You just pay more for a guitar that you can purchase for a lot less.

Well, I bought the Jackson Mark Morton signature guitar. I love the shape and its features. It's a brand new shape that Mark came up with, so it's not like I can purchase it anywhere for less. Hell, it's pretty much the same price as the RR24 anyway.

Watch out. Very dangerous, I speak from experience.

The red rings work well with Suhrs because the knobs are so huge. Do not, under any circumstances, use those with Fender or Gibson knobs. I've found that jackson uses bigger ones as well, but Suhrs' are really big.

Good point. I've only tried using them on my Charvel Star, but there'll be no problem since the buttons are so big.

Sorry let me rephrase that.. Artist Series Guitars I wouldn't spend the extra cash on.. Why pay more for a Les Paul Jr. because it's a Billie Joe Armstrong signature guitar.
