    Agree with Soap's comments completely
I had a purple burst tiger (identical to the Kami). Guitar was actually won in a metal edge magazine. As much as I was a Lynch fan I hated the graphic being so closely tied to him so I sanded it down (I was such an idiot in the 80's) The bare wood actually looked nice similar to joe perrys guitar in the Angel video. Neck felt big and the guitar was heavy but It did sound fantastic. If you are a big handded guy with a strong back this is a great live guitar. I esp loved the neck position pickup for soloing very sweet sound. If any of the above are not true you will probably not get around to playing it much as it is quite demanding and unforgiving at times.

I looked at an M-1 Tiger at Sam Ash the other day. Didn't get a chance to play it, but I was surprised the black stripes only go 1/2 way around the body (only on the top half). I don't know if they are that way to be true to the original, or if ESP was cutting corners.

I know I hear newbies on the LP forums asking why LP's don't have MOP inlays and ebony fretboards (well, you have the custom). It's because they don't know people want LP's to be true to the originals.

I built my own version of the LE IV with the finish I wanted. Maple city! Not any heavier than my Les Paul's. The Scream'n Demon PUP works great! Fit and finish is perfect

Just do the standard crotch gyrations in her face and everyone will be happy and no one will get hurt!

I think there´s a bit too much focus around the neck width and the weight... I´ve got really small hands (I´m all of 5´7" with the hands to match) but can handle 1 3/4" necks fine, and I haven´t tried a maple Lynch that´s been heavier than my Collen Archtops... and you don´t see people talking about the weight of those all that much. Of course people might like narrower necks and lightweight guitars, but there are other options for those guys.

I think the Kamikaze is a killer guitar and a tone monster. The Screamin' Demon is a perfect match for the maple and ebony. I've been looking for an M1 Tiger, at the right price, for a long time but just haven't found one yet.

I tried a real ESPee Kamikaze a couple of years ago and an LTD Bengal side by side.

The Kami was as heavy as a truck, and the neck felt overly wide - like there was 1/4" between the edge of the board and the string - it could have easily been converted to a 7-string.

The LTD played a lot like a Jackson Pro Dinky. Similar weight, similar feel/playability.

Both were owned by the same guy, and were properly set up, so it wasn't a case of "Guitar Center hacks not knowing how to set up a guitar". The Kami just felt bad to me.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I have played a few of his other models, but actually owned a neon Kamikaze for a very long time. I think of all of the guitars that I have ever owned, I hung onto the Kami for the longest time due to its great feel and playability. Unfortunately, I sold it in a moment of weakness.........but wish I could get it back.

Just thought I'd add to this thread and not start a new one. I picked up the LTD Lynch Thursday night and gigged with it last night. I'm greatly impressed as it's the first ESP I've owned and didn't pick up my USA Soloist for most of the night. The tone is absolutely amazing through my rig. I wasn't able to check it out through my stuff til showtime and it's so fat tone wise. I actually prefer this guitar to the San Dimas reissue I just sold. (Don't crucify me for that last sentence.)

The bengal and bomber guitars are maple but I think the snake and swords is an alder body.
