this is the book to have. Mine's dated 1994 and it cost me 35 cents. I am sure it has been updated. But, this book just kicks ass.

I agree. I've had mine for several years. Lot's of great stuff in the book! I think I paid a lot more for mine though. Good hunting there!

That edition sold on ebay for $15. Now, there is a big profit margin :ROTF: . I will never sell mine. It is just great.

That book told me why my 1994 MIM Strat feels so good. It's a '57 reissue. The contour is to die for. Big block trem. Vintage style tuners. And one of the best necks ever.

I don't think that book will ever be out of print. It has been revised several times Though. Most Strat collectors highly praise that book.

Good. I have leaned a lot of outside knowledge about pots and number matching. I wonder why anyone would pay big bucks for a vinatge Strat without it taken apart and all the numbers revealed. But, it happens. What struck me the most after reading the book is how dramatically the "Contour" has changed over the years.
