Update on maybe the best deal i ever got !

To this... did i go completly nuts?? Yes!



This is a "woods" custom JEM neck with 2 Graphite rods embedded and
bubinga stripe down the middle, and last 4 frets scalloped. I love it!
To much? Bordering on Ghey? Thats me!! But the plain dot necks
just dont scream "Im an attention Whore"...like i need my collection to do!

Plus Ebony on an ibanez makes a fast neck...insanely fast So a slow
guy can be mediocre!

Now for maybe my best deal to date.. DKGMFF import Jackson, but
with Custom Flame paint job, and EMG 81/89 installed from the faux
EMG Licensed Pups.. this thing screams, and i got it in excellent condition
for $200 less than a plain black one goes for on sale. Dig the shadowed
Jackson logo in the reverse headstock.. It plays and sounds better than
it looks!

Where's "Woods" Guitars located? How is that ebony neck?

Not sure where...hes just a guy known on "Jemsite" that does custom
Ibanez necks...although he may not be doing very much these days.
Quicksilver (who i bought these from) says that they are just about
impossible to acquire now.. so pretty rare to come buy. I sure like
the options of moving different necks around on J craft guitars though.

The guy is a fantastic craftsman, but S L O W. I waited a solid year for that neck. Last I checked, he was not taking any more custom orders, but was only offering items through his online store.
