  • FINALLY!!!! (4 string content!)

Well,it was my 39th birthday on the 19th and on the 20th I took delivery of a bass I've wanted since 1985-unfortunately I had to sell 2 USA Customshop B.C.Rich basses to get it,but what the hell,I deserve it,and I have been F'd over on 3 of these in the last 2 years,so when I saw this one I just had to grab it-Only 1 picture is mine as I'm waiting for my mate to give it it's first set up-he's done that to my new basses for over 20 years, one day he might charge me,and I hope he doesn't backdate it!!
Here I present (For you to laugh at) my 2007 USA Customshop B.C.Rich Widow bass (Sounds Awesome)

Happy birthday Lorne...always cool seeing people grab one of their dream guitars regardless if they have to give up something to make it happen Congratulations.

Happy B. D. ! That looks awesome. It looks something like what Gene Simmons would like to play.

Nice score!! I've always loved the Widow bass back in the day when Blackie Lawless and D.D. Verni played them.

Great pics, Lorne! And happy birthday to you, man
Seeing the strap placement, how's the balance on that thing standing up?

                Wow, pretty radical shape...

Surprisingly,it's Much better than I thought it would be,the neck starts to head floorwards, but then stops around the 4 o'clock position-perhaps it's because I'm used to Mockingbirds trying to kill themselves-that this one doesn't bother me that much

Dunno yet mate,I've only played the bass a little-it has to go to my friend's house tuesday to get the big frontbow out of it (He does all my first set ups)

Initial thoughts are, other than it being ugly,it works well
