Modifying my USA Fender Strat, input needed

This is how it looks, although I already swapped this neck for an all maple neck. I filled up the back cavity so that the trem goes downwards only. But to cover up that modification (in more ways) I decided to give it a contrast stripe.


This is what I had in mind.

What do you guys think, shall I go for it?

Leave the headstock as it is imho.

Yeah, don't paint the head. If you have to do red around the trem, make it a Rising Sun. The way it looks there throws the whole thing out of whack. That's my story and I an sticking to it.

To be honest i would just leave it as it is.

Maybe if you paint the fingerboard as well. Otherwise, it doesn't look good.

Leave the headstock natural. If y ou want the Red stripe then have the Red cover the pickguard also.

I'd only paint the filler portion of the cavity, without doing the stripe or the headstock....Now, was the Floyd added to this USA Strat? Usually USA strats with Floyds have the Floyd resting on the body.................

i don't think that'd work, leave it as it is. tho painting it all red would be cool, not least because red ones go faster...

The floyd was not an original part of this strat.

It not only looks that way, it has "ESP" stamped into the frame, so it IS an ESP floyd trem.
