  • Is there an equivalent to Warmoth in Europe?

I´ve been thinking about putting together a mutt for years and years, and now I feel it might be time to get things going soon. Anyhoo, does anyone know if someone in Europe does the same kind of stuff Warmoth does in the States? I´d probably save a few bucks if I don´t have to order from overseas, due to customs fees and all that. I don´t need the wild and wacky jobs, just basic strat parts with modern features, nice woods and good quality. Any help would be appreciated!

Dont think there is... at least i've never heard of. Go for custom. Find yourself a luthier and see what he can offer you.

Yeah, I have spoken with a few manufacturers, pro- and semi-pro luthiers, and if I simply wanted a custom piece I would have done business with one of them already. But I guess it is the added prospect of having a little project of my own that led me down the parts route... I´m not really in need of or dying for a new guitar, if you know what I mean.

Yep! Point taken... Then again, as far as i know you'll have to go with Warmoth etc. for that extra plessure of putting a guitar together yourself.
