    Double locking fixed bridge?!?

IT looks intruiging. Ultimate tunign stability without any of the hassles. ITs no harder then installling a wood block I guess, but I find it interesting!

What would the point be? Talk about the hassle of tuning on the fly. Maybe for those who hit the strings so hard they knock themselves out of tune. Maybe I am wrong, but it seems alot of effort for little return. Now if you could go from fixed to trem and then back to fixed that would be pretty cool!

Schaller 456 bridge has fine tuners so if you could add a locking nut. Strings don't lock on the bridge but you could at leat take the tuners to nut out of the equation if you added a locking nut.

There is the Floyd Rose speed loader fixed bridge.

Sure, if I had the bridge on hand.

A Kahler Spyder trem (Floyd-style) with the optional Auto-Latch does exactly that. Swing the bar into a position out of your way and it blocks the bridge.

I had no idea. That is pretty cool.
