  • Well Fender has unveiled their next "tribute" guitar

After Stevie Ray Vaughan's Nr1, Clapton's "Blackie", Andy Summers' tele, Eddie Van Halen's "Frankenstein" and Rory Gallagher's strat, people thought that the most famous Fenders were all been taken care off.

    Apparently not though...
See their next tribute guitar here.

hmmmm....ugly and silly. i love fender guitars, but their whole thing with issuing out these artist models is silly. i wonder if they have something like this planned for jackson/charvel....

Oh boy...... like Paul Reed Smith said: "Dead musicians are helping Fender sell guitars, how can you compete with that?"

The response from a smart ass in the crowd? "Shoot Carlos".

To be honest, I don't find anything special about that. A Jimi Hendrix Strat or Keith Richards Tele would of been cooler tbh.

                They already did those.

                    I love it...
I'm sure it will be MUCHO dinero but the guitar itself kills...

I thought it was silly too, until I saw the Robin Trower strat. It wasn't so much the fact that it was associated with him as it was just the overally look and spec of the guitar. It was everything I could ever want in a strat. Since I got it, i don't play my american deluxe anymore. Of course it isn't one of those "reliced" perfect replicas either.

You didn't list them, so I wasn't sure Still, they could do a Gilmour strat or something.

They have been working out the details on the Gilmour strat for awhile now. I don't know when that one will ever hit, but it would be a huge money maker for Fedner for sure.
