I think it is a good thing in general, whether the guitars are worth it or not is another story. I know they are in it for the money at the end of the day but it still shows they are putting thought into new creations and challenging their builders instead of just rehashing the MIA, MIJ, MIM, etc. strat models in all their assorted colors.

And if some die hard SRV fan wants one, its there for him.
