OK. Riddle me this. Kramer. '80's Hockey Stick Kramer Specials seem to be few and far between. I have 2 and I have had them for 2 years. I have checked ebay since I got them and I have yet to see one. I thought the Pacer Special was pretty common. But, I guess not.

Pacer Specials with the Banana are pretty uncommon, because the Baretta was in to replace the special, and the Baretta was the first guitar with the Banana/Hockey stick neck.

Beak Pacer Specials are not uncommon, but yes as for Banana head PSs I have only seen about 5

Mine are both Maple bods with rosewood boards and real Floyds. One is stock.

makes sense, a maple board would be damn near one of a kind.

the guitars they were producing at that time were Maple and Poplar for the most part.

the good ol' Schaller pickups...

im guessing that the neck plate # will be some thing like C5xxx or something close to that?

The stock is C6251 and the Mod is C6496.

they seem like they would be a great 1 humbucker guitar, but I have another Kramer project going on

I didn't do the Mod. It's an EMG. I think 89. Shaved neck and graphics.

Here it is. The Kramer guys said it is after-market. If it is those guys did a hell of a job.

ah yes, I have seen that one over there, a LONG time ago, Nice axe man! if it was mine, I would change out that screw in floyd bar for a collared type, those are # 1 IMO

Nothing wrong with that pic. And a nice guitar. I like the smooth rounded edges. Just wait until you have to take close-ups.

the only things really "wrong" with that pic are a bit of blur, and the fingerboard looks scalloped!

I have an 83 Special with a Warmoth ebony strat head and an 83 Maple Beaker Special...
No Nanner Specials but have a couple of nanner Imperials.
