Stagemaster has me confused. I thought whether they were neckthrough or bolt-on they had reversed headstocks. This one doesn't. I just had to get it. http://cgi.ebay.com/Squier-Stagemast...QQcmdZViewItem I was so excited I said "Squire":ROTF: Silly me. UMM. Rootbeer. I like the paint job.

If I would have seen this at my local pawnshop they would be asking $150. I maybe could have got it for $100. At that price, I would have bit. So, in evens out. I guess. I'm still intrigued by the headstock.I am a true ass set to this board.

It's a Floyd. I have 2 Stagemaster neckthroughs and they nice guitars. A definite steal. This is the first bolt-on for me. There is just something about this one. $110 is dinner for two but I am alone and eat cheap meat.:ROTF:Last edited by fett; 10-10-2007, 01:52 PM.I am a true ass set to this board.

Get a neckthrough. I may get reamed for this, but they are just as good as a Model 6. The painted neck on both of mine are flawless. The trems are good. And you can get them for a song. Like $150.I am a true ass set to this board.

I can believe it. I had a Model 6, and I've played the neckthroughs, and I have to say, they were impressive. I miss my Model 4 and 6, though (sigh). I know where the Model 6 is, but the f@#%*er I sold it to, back around 1990-91, won't let go of it! Cobalt Blue.I'm not Ron!

Wow, that's sweet, Fett! Great score and that's the first of that variation that I've seen. The only other bolt-on Stagemasters I've seen were 22-fret, reverse headstock with a regular Strat-style pickguard. I've seen those with licensed Floyds and 2-point non-locking trems. That's a heck of a guitar for $110 shipped!Ron is the MAN!!!!
