  • How many guitars is too many?

I got 7 guitars 4 of them are acoustics (not counting my Jackson body) and every one says I got to many and I need to sell some of them before I get more. How many guitars do you have? and how many is to many.

    Post pics it you'd like.

Buy as many as you want, my story is old, but as long as you're not married, and you are in control of your life, buy a few hundred if you have the scratch for it.

I try to keep it under 10. Married, not enough money and not enough room.

I have too many (30-35). You're fine trust me, it's when you get to 15 or more that you start to think... WHAT AM I DOING!?! You've got room for double... don't sweat it

For me it was like when you ran out of coke. When one arrived it made me drool for another as soon as possible. Had them all layed out on stands, at least as many as I could fit in the little studio I had and i used to talk to them. They were great friends.

                      I'm at 8 right now.
You can NEVER have too many guitars as long as you play them all every once and a while. I rotate mine.
A guitar that sits in a case it's whole life is a waste.
I don't believe in collector guitars that sit in a case or display, a guitar is meant to be played.

I have 3. My husband is really awesome, if we had the money, he wouldn't care if I had 100. I also belive they need to be played, I rotate mine at shows and practice so they all get a regular work out.

I have five.. looking at it rationally, I think all I need is (maybe just the first two):

                            1. Fender Strat
                            2. V shaped guitar with EMGs
                            3. Superstrat shape with dimarzios
"I hate these filthy neutrals! With enemies, you know where they stand. But with neutrals... who knows? It sickens me!"
