Yeah I'm only 17 still at home with my two sisters 23 and 21 and one brother that is 19 non of them play guitar I got a big amp in the middle of the living room and they all ways say I need to get a smaller one. Yeah I do have a lot of acoustics one of them came from my Uncle it's a old Yamaha he got it in Japan when he was in the war then he gave it to me 'cause he dose not play any more and then I got my self an Alvarez really cheap then I got my self a Yamaha 12 string. I also got a really Old Gibson came from my great ant it needs tuners then it will be complete.
Then my Electrics I got a Epephone Les Paul Standard, Fender Strat, and a Jackson DKMG I'm still working on need a neck and it'll be complete.
My cheapest is a 2005 Washburn Delta King it's a Semi Hollow body can't even use the frets form 15 and up 'cause the body gets in the way but it's fun to play around on.
Ive been ranting on for to long. I'll keep the guitars com'en in when I get the money not sure what to get next.

    Thanks all.

I don't really know but it over 30. If I kept all I ever owned it would be well over 200.

Right now I have a floyded superstrat and an LP and am in the middle of building a strat. Beyond that I want to get a hollow or semi-hollow jazz guitar, an acoustic, and a classical. Assuming I ever get a band together I'll want a backup to whichever guitar I use in the band, so I guess 7 or 8 guitars are all I ever want to have. Beyond that I also want a bass, a piano, a keyboard, a violin, and a saxophone.

Haha, that's hilarious. I just hit 15 and that thought finally occurred to me for the first time.

I try to keep it around 10. Many more than that and some get neglected....and maintenance becomes a pain.

i bought 54 in a year, talk about catching the collecting bug. That was in '99-2000. Then it slowed down a little, then I saw them slowly dissipate, and each one was a knife wound.
Bonghits Mikey, yes i used to have a pile of raquets. I broke a shitload of them during matches. McEnroe had a better temper than I did, I was the worst by far. I guess he handed it down to me after dinner, he'd give me a beating once in a while out of fun, a physical beating that is, when he wqas my sisters boyfriend, and then I'd sick my brother Jimmy on him and it was take a free shit at Mac time-lol
He mentions my family often in his book. It's a a pretty good read.

I'm at 6 guitars right now.

The only reason to slow down the GAS is when you get 24/7 errections when you're looking at your gear! (just to leave some blood left for the brain)

I just did a count. I'm at 18 right now. I don't currently feel the need for any more, but I'm sure it will happen. My wife has given up. She used to bitch about it when I was around 10 or 12 guitars, but she was smart enough to realize that nagging about it is pointless.
                        Sleep!!, That's where I'm a viking!!

I have 13 at the moment and it's gotten to the stage where there are 1 or 2 I just don't play anymore. No biggie really, I'll still keep them for when I need something for another tuning or something like that.
I'm pretty much always looking at a few more though, if I had the means I would probably get them too.

HAHAHAH, same thing at my house too bro.

I'm at 22 and my son has 4 more also. I've bought 11 guitars in the last 18 months or so and I'm always looking for another sleeper. I can't turn down a bargain if I find one on a USA made axe.

                            Guitars make me happy!
Like the same reaction upon seeing a set of breasteses, they make me happy to be a man as I smile that devilish grin.

When you have forgotten how many you have, that's too many. I had to go and check inventory to see how many I have. 46 and that's too many for me.
