Bonghits Mikey, yes i used to have a pile of raquets. I broke a shitload of them during matches. McEnroe had a better temper than I did, I was the worst by far. I guess he handed it down to me after dinner, he'd give me a beating once in a while out of fun, a physical beating that is, when he wqas my sisters boyfriend, and then I'd sick my brother Jimmy on him and it was take a free shit at Mac time-lol
He mentions my family often in his book. It's a a pretty good read.

How dose any one ever get up the money to get that many guitars?
and how big of a house do you have really I have no room for the 7 I got and I only have two cases one for the acoustics and one for the Electrics

I have about 35 but am currently getting rid of the floyded stuff. Just don't use them for anything that can't be done with a strat trem.

Hopefully by December I'll be down to 27. Then I can start getting more...

Jesus you sick bastards! I can't believe how many you guys have. WOW!

I would not know where to put them all. Where do you guys store all those cases?

Personally I have one beater (Charvel mutt) that I can take anywhere.
My PC1 for playing out most of the time.
My Custom Demon because its my personal one of a kind guitar that I love and is my prize possession.
And my Hamer Vector because I jam with a lot of Hamer guys around here.

No more point in me having any more. I just sold a custom Robin Medley that I just did not bond with but was a beautiful guitar.

I have one more shredder on the way from a PRIVATE builder in the UK who builds guitars similar to Hamer Calis. That one I just ordered and should be here next year in April.

Others I would like to try would be Moser and maybe a Suhr 24 fretter when they come out.

But I would never play a Tele or Les Paul or SG when I have these high performance shred machines with killer tone around.

I used to haul in some serious cha-chinga my good man, I had some just as expensive bad habits and i also styled out my wife at the time too until the end when it was all out warfare. Then all of a sudden, the big commission checks stopped coming in after 13 years of it, the last 4 years i have tried so many different kinds of things and ways to make money, and there's one i'm really good at but it still doesn't pay the bills unfortunately. Long story, but a good one, and quite hilarious at times. you'll be able to see it in my book whenever it comes out.

Well, most of them are in closets, with specially made risers in case of floods. I'm in an area prone to flooding every 100 years or so. The really expensive or non-replaceable ones go in Fire Rated vaults built into the wall

              Coyote,
Many Guitars = College Education, Good Job and playing for 42 years! Oh, yeah and I don't take any vacations or have too many expensive habits.

Guitars are my mental enema. Saves coin not taking vacations:ROTF:
Pretty soon, I'll catch up on Fett Naw, that probably will never happen:ROTF:

Size of House? It's never big enough. You just have to start throwing out the furniture! You know get your priority's straight. Besides, who likes tripping over furniture.

I only have 6. I think I covered all the basic food groups for a guitar. Got a RR, Kelly, a few strat bodies, one with EMGs, DiMarzios, SD, stock Jackson pups, a 7-string, and an acoustic. Only things I seem to be missing is a Les Paul type and a strat with a maple fretboard. Maybe I'll pick up a Hello Kitty strat and throw a Screaming Demon in it.

I recall seeing that image on a Styx album, I think.

I've got two (one 6 string, one 7 string) and my wife has one (acoustic) and a bass (4 string). I am gassing for a custom Carvin, but that probably won't happen in the near future.

I like taking vacations more than buying guitars, and my wife would kill me if I bought another guitar! I have no balls.

Since the mid '80s, I've owned about 30 guitars. I've only owned 11 at one time, though. Now I've got 8, with another (Brian Moore import) coming tomorrow.
